Cables - charging and data

Charging cable is just ANY microUSB cable. Will charge

Data is not. The plug on the side is your only data path in, but the board listens to it as a serial port. So the 'special' Peek cable is really any cable that converts usb to serial over the wire.

Data interface is USB on PC to RS-232 Serial on Peek
Connector interface is USB on PC to MicroUSB on Peek

It's not just a wire because it needs the circuitry to convert the protocol from USB to RS-232.

You can find then online.

"Are there any left?"

We have a few hundred in New York, but we have received around 2,000 requests so far.

Need to reply and sort through them

We have another several thousand in Texas at our warehouse though.

But here is what the reply to the many emails will say

1. This is a hard platform to develop for. If you have made a website or a Java server or even an iPhone app...this does not mean you will succeed here. You need to know C/C++, bootloaders and embedded arcana, you will need a flashing cable that you have to buy or make somehow...

2. Once you have this all, it is still a pain in the ass. The build time is long, the code is hard to understand, the basic TI environment is crap and the Nucleus OS on top of it make Windows look like NextOS etc etc

3. If you send a prepaid mailing label we will get you a Peek etc eventually. It is going to take a little time. We will probably send a first batch on Monday
